The Rt Hon. Winston Ironjowl is seldom seen without a leather-bound brief and the set of a jaw that has closed more debates than it has opened. Suggested by Sammy, he stands for the unfashionable virtues of duty, dispatch and a well-polished shoe. From a terrace above the river he keeps one eye on the clock tower and the other on the papers of state, insisting that government, like a good coat, should be cut to last.
